I want to know how to a bbq sauce out of hennessy?

This tomato based sauce has a sweet yet tangy flavor from the bourbon. This is a great barbecue sauce for just about anything but is particularly good on beef.

Sweet Bourbon Sauce

INGREDIENTS:

3/4 cup ketchup

1/3 cup maple syrup

1/4 cup vegetable oil

1/4 cup bourbon

2 tablespoon cider vinegar

2 tablespoon Dijon-style mustard

PREPARATION:

Combine all ingredients together in a medium bowl until well mixed.|||Carolina Border BBQ Sauce:

1 cup yellow mustard

1 cup whiskey or bourbon liquor (use Hennesy here)

1/4 cup sugar

1/4 cup light brown sugar

1/4 cup water

2 tablespoons chili powder

1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

1 teaspoon black pepper

1 teaspoon white pepper

1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper

1/2 teaspoons soy sauce

2 tablespoons butter

Mix together all ingredients except the soy sauce and the butter. Place in a saucepot and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add soy sauce and butter and reduce for 10 minutes.

Yield: about 3 cups|||BBQ sauce is just a bunch of flavors thrown together. Hennessey will be a good addition to any recipe. Just throw some in. the alcohol will help make up for the lack of fat and enrich the flavor. I'd use about a Tablespoon of Hennessey for every cup of BBQ sauce that your recipe calls for.|||2 (14-ounce) bottles tomato ketchup
