Is Hennessy Pure White cognac, or white wine?

i have heard both. i would like to know what it is before i buy it.|||Cognac is a distilled wine made in the Cognac region of France. It is actually a type of Brandy, which is the group of all distilled wines (the term brandy can be used for distilled wine made in California, Canada, or anywhere else).

Hennessey is a distillery thus they make brandy. But they do it in Cognac, France so it is technically called Cognac.|||Hennessy Pure White expresses the qualities of the white wines from which they are distilled. They are produced with the finest white grapes from the sunny Cognac region. The Cognac double distillation accounts for its flowery aromas and powerful character.

|||It's a cognac. But cognac is just a type of brandy, which is double distilled wine that has been aged for 2 years. So technically it's both in a way, but Hennessy Pure White is classified as a cognac.|||Hennessy is Cognac, not white wine.|||henny is pure cognac .. although it is made from grape... that is why ppl get confused
