?|||Hennessy is the name of the company and they specialize in cognac. Cognac is a spirit made from grapes (like wine) but usually 40% proof. Not a whiskey ( because its made from malt, grain or rye, etc.) but a similar alchohol content.|||no it is cognac, a very different, but tasty kind of drink. by the way hennessy is one of the most overrated drinks, go for Moyet|||coneyac don't think they make whiskey, but not sure.
